Fees and Insurance

  • Your intake appointment will give us an opportunity to make a provisional diagnosis, assess your needs, and orient you to the clinical process.  It will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.  Intakes are scheduled for 75 minutes.

  •  Some people have concerns regarding the nature of the questions in the intake.  We will never require you to answer a question that you are not ready to answer.  Assessment is an ongoing clinical process.  Some people are not prepared to disclose their most intimate issues until they feel safe; and though we will encourage your growth, we will encourage it at a rate that is appropriate for you.

  • Subsequent sessions last 45-50 minutes.

  • If you DO plan to use insurance, we will happily provide you with a "Superbill" so that you can submit to them for reimbursement.

  • We encourage you to check with your insurance company to determine what your benefits are.  Most insurance companies provide you with a card that has an 800 number on the back of it so you can call customer service.

  •  If your insurance company requires a preauthorization to initiate services, it's a good idea to obtain that before you start

  • We are currently “In-Network” with Medicare only.  Some services we provide are NOT covered by Medicare.  We will let you know before you start services what you can expect to be covered.

  • We are “Out-of-Network” with all other insurance companies.  We will provide you with paperwork ("Superbille")  each month so you can submit for reimbursement yourself.
